You can find services in your area including: | Food | Utility bill assistance | After-school programs | | Shelter | Counseling | Senior services | | Rent assistance | Child care | Disaster relief | The 2-1-1 Texas website takes the knowledge from local Area Information Centers' databases and gives you the ability to search for information on over 6,000 Texas-wide agencies. If you need further assistance, you can dial 2-1-1 on your phone. 2-1-1 is a free, easy-to-remember phone number connecting callers with health and human services in their area. Knowledgeable staff will speak with you and answer your questions. You can call for assistance seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Note: There are some scenarios where a caller is not able to dial 2-1-1 directly.
