Veteran's Peer to Peer Support Group

A Peer to Peer Support Group is now available locally for veterans, active duty, guard, reserves and their families. Valerie Romans, Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran and Eric Leonard, Desert Storm Veteran, have successfully completed the “Bring Everyone in the Zone”: Peer to Peer Facilitator Training and are fully prepared to help.   

The first meeting will be held on July 29, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post 166, located at 1402 East Santa Rosa (corner of Santa Rosa and Hummel).  Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks will be provided during the event, and children and families are welcome.  To RSVP and/or for more information, please call Stan Hamlyn, Gulf Bend Center Veteran Support Services Coordinator at (361) 575-0611, ext 348.
